Beginning last September 15 and until next September 16 we will be celebrating the Year of Rejoicing and Spiritual Renewal. Our professed men have prepared two banners which can be hung in churches, parish hall, etc. You can buy them ($25 each) from Fr. Len Collins.

Fr. John Korcsmar went on retreat at the Jesuit Spirituality Center, in Grand Coteau, LA It was a very good experience. It was a silent, directed retreat. He met with his director once a day. After talking for about an hour, his director assigned him three passages in the Bible to pray over. The next day, they got together, John shared his experiences of prayer, the director and he talked, and then he was given another three passages. It was very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. John highly recommends the experience.
There were two Marianites on retreat there while he was there, Sr. Kathleen and Sr. Verda. There are also two Marianites on staff there. John was on retreat, so he didn't talk with them!
