Sr. Lili said that this is chicken paprikash. She sprinkled a little bit of paprika on the rice before putting the chicken with the broccoli and carrots on. The other item on the plate is refried beans, an old traditional Hungarian dish (?????). |

The candidates are working on their English. John tried to help the cause along by helping them to learn more English. John has taught Nohemi to say, "I'll get you your coffee, Father." Here she is preparing the coffee. |

John seems pretty pleased with the coffee and the chicken. |

Here Fred Gale, outgoing chair, is presented with a plaque recognizing his work over the years. Fred is retiring from his job and moving out to New Mexico. |
| Sr. Lili, Paty, and Nohemi went to San Antion to celebrate Mario Guzmán's birthday. A good time was had by all!! | |
| Father Hal Zink
is moving from Brother Vincent Pieau Residence in Austin to Holy Cross
House at Notre Dame. He fell recently and broke his arm with a
hairline fracture. However, this does require a cast, which makes
it even more difficult to move around with his walker. The
services which he needs are more than what Brother Vincent Pieau
Residence can offer. Father Hal has worked in New Orleans and in Austin and at Portland University over these many years. We hope that he is able to regain his strength and mobility at Holy Cross House.
