St. Ignatius Parish had a session on immigration reform. There were about 100 people who attended.

Father John Korcsmar went out to Sale Lake City to talk with the promotores and then the board of Holy Cross Ministries. They are doing fine work with counseling, immigration work, access to health care and many other things.

While John was in Salt Lake City, John ran into his brother, Moose. Fortunately he was not driving at the time. Actually this moose was photographed by Sr. Mary Ann Pajakowski in front of the Holy Cross Sisters' home in Park City, Utah. |
On February 28th, Austin Interfaith had an accountability session with the candidates for county commissioner. Part of the session was a skit on the lack of water in Hornsby Bend. Sister Lili Martinez did a great skit as some one trying to wash dishes and hopefully take a shower and then getting into a confrontation with "Mr. Developer." The part called for some rough language, and so Sr. Lili, adapting to Texas, angrily said, " Dang!"
