Father Marin Hernández said Mass for a family in Hutto, TX.  Various family members are part of Dolores Parish, so Father John Korcsmar and Sister Carlota Lebeouf also went along.

The family roots are from Hierba Buena, near Rio Verde, San Luis Potosí.  The grandfather and the grandson were killed in a car accident traveling from there to Austin; the accident took place in Matehuala, México. 

Father Marin did very well.  He had prepared some music for the Mass.  He practiced the music with the people before the Mass.  He did much better than Father John, but it was a good thing Sister Carlota came along.  After the Mass there was some socializing.  John met the great-grandfather who is 84 years-old.  He also met one of the grandchildren who works as a waitress in Joy East, a Chinese buffet that John has frequented once or twice.  Small world.
