The Indiana Province has decided to withdraw from Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in New Orleans, and the Archdiocese announced that the parish will close.  Not enough people have returned to the Mid-City area of New Orleans.  Father Bill Crumley at Immaculate Conception is the only Holy Cross presence at a parish in Louisiana at this time.  Father Tom Chambers continues at Wilwoods, and Father Anthony Deconciliis continues as president of Our Lady of Holy Cross College on the West Bank.
