Dolores Parish had their First Communions.  It is always a joyous event to see the children all enthused.  First Communions have changed over the years at Dolores.  When John was first there, there were always a few First Communions in Spanish, but the vast majority were in English.  Now the Spanish speaking predominate.  So we now have two separate Masses.  We need to add another Mass in Spanish; not everyone could get into the church for the Spanish Mass.

Sr.Rose--ever the organizer--has everyone trained.  She just sits back and watches everything unfold. Fr. John blesses the religious articles that the kids have received.
