The Franciscan Sisters at Dolores (Franciscanas Hijas de la Misericordia) have taken an assignment at the parish in  Salinas de Hidalgo, San Luís Potosi, México.  This town is on the road between the cities of San Luís Potosi and Zacatecas.  The parish, which is the only parish in town, includes a large area with 50 communities.  One of the concerns of the pastor is pastoral care for the relatives who have been left behind by those who have migrated to the U.S.

The immigrant community at Dolores wanted to have a "Fiesta Mexicana" at the parish.  Pancho and Marta Castillo worked very hard with many people, including Dulce Rivera, Joe Lopez, and Bea Lucio to make it a success.
