Father Mike Sis, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Austin, came to preach on vocations at Dolores Parish.  He did an excellent job.

Fr. Mike is a Notre Dame grad.

Austin Interfaith and Catholic Charities of Central Texas held an Economic Summit.  Bishop Gregory Aymond did the opening prayer and some initial remarks.  Minerva Camarena-Skeith and Angela Baker gave an opening talk.

There were many people from the business community: Kenny Williams president of the local Bank of America, Ed Rollins, president of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, Pike Powers, an attorney, and many more.  A good time was had by all!
