Earthquake in Haiti
The earthquake in Haiti affected Holy Cross. The provincial house, the scholasticate (where young student religious live), and a high school were destroyed.
One seminarian was at school taking a test. The building he was in collapsed, and he was killed.
CIFOR
CIFOR is a consortium. Different religious communities have organized a school which they share and sent their young religious to. This is where the Holy Cross seminarian, some Montfort brothers, and some Oblate seminarians were killed.

This is L"Escolaire Basile Moreau.
These are refugees who have been staying at Escolaire Basile Moreau, a high school. They have had different people staying there. Some were seminarians from religious orders and dioceses. Most have moved on. They have also had people from the parish and others who have worked with Holy Cross.
